The RELAIS SCANNING WORKSTATION is a completely integrated and ergonomically efficient work environment for scanning superior quality documents with Relais ILL and Relais Express.

The workstation includes:

An fi-6750S (color) high-quality, high-performance scanner from Fujitsu.

The scanner is bundled with a Kofax software to speed up the image capture process and to provide access to a range of image processing features.

This scanner also includes Fujitsu's Image Processing Circuit (IPC) software so that when there is both photographs and text on the same page, staff need scan the page only once.

21" touch-screen monitor. All controls can be accessed by touch or through mouse interaction, whatever the operator's preference. This monitor can be purchased with or without the touch screen option.

Bar code reader. The Relais request number is entered using a bar code reader. This ensures accuracy of data entry and eliminates the potential for errors. (The bar code reader is not required with Relais Express.)

Foot pedal. The scanner is triggered using a foot pedal, leaving both hands free to handle the document.
