Scanning

The Relais scanning functionality is fully integrated into Relais Enterprise and so when supplying copies of print based non-returnable, such as journal articles, staff use the same system. Relais scanning is an optional module with Relais ILL.

All that is required is barcode entry of the request number followed by a scan of the requested pages.  The simplicity of the system makes it easy to train any level of staff very quickly. 

The same scanning procedure is used irrespective of the method by which Relais is delivering the document. 

While a complete scanning station is available from Relais International you may choose to supply your own scanner – make sure it includes support for a TWAIN driver.
