Invoicing

At the time that Relais Enterprise or Relais ILL delivers a document an invoicing calculation can be done.  This calculation may use several elements such as the billing rate assigned to the requester, the request type and the service level. The calculation is performed for each request and the amount stored.

The amount may be included on the document cover sheet, which can then be used as an invoice. Since all the invoicing information for each request is available in the database, a report writing tool can be used to generate invoices or upload the information into an accounting system. Relais does not record payments.
