FTP to Ariel; For
each document in the Ariel queue, a GEDI header is created and added to the
document. The document is then sent to an Ariel IP address via your local
Ariel store and forward station
or to an Ariel
email address.
Fax. For each document in the fax queue, a cover sheet is
generated and added to the document, the document is resized to 8 ½" x 11"
(if necessary), the resolution is downgraded to 200 DPI and converted to
TIFF Group 3 type for transmission by fax.
Email - Attachment. For each
document being sent as an email attachment, a cover sheet may be
generated and added to the document, the document is rotated to portrait (if
necessary), resized to 8 ½" x 11" (if necessary), converted to PDF (if
necessary), an email message is generated with the attachment and the email
sent.
Post to Web option, a cover sheet may
be generated and
added to the document, the document is rotated to portrait (if necessary),
resized to 8 ½" x 11" (if necessary), converted to PDF (if necessary), the
document is posted to a locally defined ftp server, an email message is
generated with a link to the document and the email sent.
Print. For each document to be
printed for traditional delivery methods such as mail or courier, a cover
sheet may be generated and added to the
document, the document is rotated to portrait (if necessary), resized to 8
½" x 11" (if necessary) and printed at a specified printer.
