Communication with other libraries and with patrons

Using ISO 10160/1 Relais Enterprise and Relais ILL can communicate with other interlibrary loan systems in a peer - to- peer environment.

Relais Enterprise and Relais ILL can also send and receive requests in ‘generic script format’ as well as via other non-standard means.

When you need to get in touch with a user or patron messages can be sent via email.  To simplify this process you can create a variety of ‘canned’ messages which can be edited by staff prior to sending.  Patrons can also monitor the status of requests via Relais Access web forms.
